HYROX

HYROX is a race built out of eight workout stations and a kilometre of running between each one. Covering it means moving as much as the athletes do.

Shot handheld across the floor with long lenses for compression and a lot of patience waiting on the sandbag lunges, which is where faces stop performing and start telling the truth.

Effort photographs better than victory. Most of the selects here are from the middle of the race, not the finish line.
